This is Age UK H&W's premium course for Managers and Seniors who wish to train their own staff in Moving and Handling techniques.

What will I learn on this Course?

• List what you need to do in order to prepare to teach
• Demonstrate the practical skills of being a trainer
• Present various aspects of the Manual Handling PowerPoint to your colleagues
• Teach elements of the practical techniques of moving & handling loads and people to your colleagues

This course is for individuals who are happy to demonstrate teaching colleagues Moving & Handling techniques in a 1-2-1 or group situation. We will need to see you demonstrate these techniques in order to judge your competence, so it's essential that you are fit and well enough to do so. Full support will be given at every stage of the course.
